Darach is an award winning screenwriter based in Dublin. His first feature film Double Blind was released in cinemas in Feb 2024 and nominated for 11 Irish Film and Television Awards, including Best Film and Best Script. His short film Gridlock won over 50 festival awards worldwide and was longlisted for the 2018 Oscars.

When a little girl goes missing from one of the cars in a traffic jam on a country road, her father forms a desperate search party to find her, and soon everyone is a suspect.
Gridlock played festivals all over the world and has won over 50 awards to date, including at Cork, Foyle, DC Shorts, Savannah, and a Young Director Award at Cannes. It was nominated for an IFTA and longlisted for the 2018 Oscars.
