Darach is a Dublin based screenwriter. His short film Gridlock played festivals all over the world and has won 50 awards to date, including at Cork, Foyle, DC Shorts, Savannah, and a YDA Award at Cannes. It was nominated for an IFTA and longlisted for the 2018 Oscars. His latest short Low Tide received funding from Screen Ireland and screened most recently at the Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival, where he was nominated for the Discovery Award for his writing. He received development funding from Screen Ireland for his feature screenplay Double Blind, and is currently in the second round of development. The project was selected for the EAVE Producers Workshop 2018.
